Shipping:
Our customers will be advised at checkout which items are considered “freight.” All orders of non-freight items over $100 will be shipped FREEwithin the 48 contiguous states by a common carrier of our choice. Expedited service can be arranged through UPS for an additional fee at checkout.
Freight items can only be shipped via a common carrier of our choice. You will be notified at checkout which items can only be shipped only via common carrier . However, it is the customer’s responsibility to have the merchandise removed from the truck. (For insurance purposes, the common carriers cannot permit anyone but truck personnel on the vehicle nor will the carriers take responsibility for the condition of the merchandise.)
We will pay for freight shipped by trucks that do not have lift-gates. Depending on the size and weight of the merchandise, the customer may want to consider utilizing a truck with a lift-gate. (A lift-gate is a vertically moving plate at the back of the truck such that the merchandise can be pushed onto the plate and then lowered automatically to ground level.) The lift-gate truck can be provided for a $100 fee, payable at checkout.
Most of our orders ship within 1-3 days of placement. For an additional charge, same-day expedited service may be available provided we receive the order before 1:00 p.m., eastern time. You will be notified, and not charged, if same-day expedited service is not available. We will contact you within 24 hours (48 hours with regard to orders placed over the weekend) if we cannot ship within the usual 1-3 days to notify you of the delay.
Returns:
We will not be satisfied unless our customer is satisfied. We will refund within 30 days of the date of delivery, for any reason, any unused non-freight merchandise provided it is returned in the original packaging, subject to a restocking fee equal to twenty-five percent (25%) of the sales price of the merchandise. The re-stocking fee will be lowered if a replacement order of approximately equal amount is placed.
Absent any damages, freight items cannot be refunded.
Damages:
Naturally, we will replace any merchandise that arrives in a damaged condition. Freight merchandise should be immediately inspected for damage to the outer packing material. If the packaging/crating appears damaged, refuse shipment. If the shipment is accepted, open the contents and notify us within 24-hours of delivery of any damages. The customer will then be notified of replacement procedures.
Non-freight items should be inspected as quickly as possible. Any damaged items must be reported to us within 72 hours of delivery. The customer will then be advised as to replacement procedures.
If an item is received with a manufacturer's defect, the sole liability of the seller will be to furnish at seller's premises a replacement of same, and seller shall not be liable for any damages, or labor installation or for any liability whatsoever resulting there from . Seller shall not, under any circumstances, be liable for any damages caused by third parties.
